Necktie naturals- linen, cotton, seersucker

Rochefort neckties have been tailored in some wonderful natural fibres including linen, cotton and seersucker... these ties can be, of course, made to any width or length for you.

White dinner jacket

Robert asked for a white dinner jacket and classic look, but with a bit of contemporary... so Rochefort designed and tailored a white shirt with black buttons and black button holes. The look is that of dress studs but not... classic but not. Rob is very happy.

Linen necktie... great summer look

I found some great check linen for shirting, but decided to buy some of the cloth for a handful of neckties; editoned. Great to work with a navy suit or charcoal. Would look great with a cotton suit or jacket.

Of course, embroidered with customer Rochefort logo into the necktie's cloth - sky blue.

Neckties cut from Dormeuil Aquaplan

I have taken hold of some Aquaplan fabrics for the specific purpose of cutting for neckties. Different you may think, but for the single most obvious reason as to keep you necktie clean from not just water, but oils from foods... a necktie which takes the headache out of stains.

Dashing Tweeds a dashing idea

Rochefort has brought in some great fun looking tweeds from UK company Dashing Tweeds. Fun with flair is the name of the game. Venture in to look through the swatch book.

Dormeuil "Amadeus" 10oz

A 10 ounce fabric is a good weight with superb handle and drap and a good weight to fend of the winter chills. But don't think it is a winter weight heavy. You can get great wear all year round with a 10 ounce. Our two most favourite swatch books come from Dormeuil's Amadeus range and Holland & Sherry's Target. Both around the Super 120 quality of fabric.

Winter stock for 2009 -

Gentlemen, there is plenty of new stock available at the boutique. Now is the time to ask. Apart from Rochefort garb, I have great looking flat caps which are very in and lambswool/Angora scarves which are soft, soft, soft!

Brett sings Amadeus praises - 1/11/08

Well done to Brett Babicci!! He recently chose a wonderful Dormeuil fabric from the Amadeus range. It is a 10oz fabric which is a great all-year-round material for Sydney. He was after a fabric with a semi-sheen and we think he chose well. Also, good to see he's wearing an old classic Rochefort designed necktie.

By the way, he's pictured here with singer and actor Natalie Bassingthwaighte at Samsung's 21st birthday bash in Sydney.

Double breasted S150 suit - 9/9/08

We were happy with the result of John Death's suit... a handsome double breasted number made from a S150 supplied by Ausfine. Remember, this mill is the result of local Australian merino wool growers banding together to have their own 'greasy' wool make it to the mills in Italy and Korea and still be locally owned.

This double breasted suit fits well and gives John a great silhouette. Finished off with a Rochefort tailored shirt and one of our signature neckties (the Latisha model in a great burnt orange).

Oh I have been to Ludlow fair,
and left my necktie God knows where.
And carried half way home, or near,
pints and quarts of Ludlow beer.
