Suiting

Rochefort offers a range tailored suiting

A well-fitting suit is a great experience.

There are three basic elements of a tailored suit – fabric, styling and tailoring.

Utilising Rochefort’s skills, you get to say exactly what you like and so want in your suit! Rochefort is a boutique tailoring service based around quality products, personalised to suit you.

There are two levels of tailored suit available - made-to-measure and bespoke.

A made-to-measure suit is when you are measured and styling discussed for a suit tailored with an average of two fittings.

A bespoke suit is more complex in that you will be required for on average up to four fittings and the initial will be created as a shell or baste to commence, allowing greater control over the process.

Each tailored suit will take an average of six weeks.

Fabric

A great fabric has excellent drape and “handle” – and worn for summer months, colder periods or a ‘little of both’ for Sydneysiders. Dormeuil’s range of suiting, jacketing and casual fabrics are a classic example. Our Personalised material knowledge will weed out what is and isn’t you - to compare “apples with apples”.

Tailoring

Know that the manufacture of your suit is overseen - from your initial measurements to chalking and cutting the fabric, first fitting and pinning, recutting, to the final stitching and hand pickstitching.

Styling

Have your requirements heard - whether it’s business or occassion, styling is based on what you want. We’ll advise based on your body shape, complexion and, importantly, the rest of your wardrobe.

Wardrobe

We are able to complement your suiting requirements with tailored shirting and even our bespoke necktie service!
